Ever since I’ve read Yuval’s Harari body of work, I’ve been fascinated by the human-made mythologies to explain the natural world and cooperate on a large scale. As a species, we use analogies, metaphors and abstractions to make sense of the phenomenons around us, sometimes for our benefit, others for our detriment. From gods to money, these abstractions inspired this series of artwork I’ve been sketching for years, but never found the time to properly finish. This is the first piece of this series. More to come!
